Prepare to Make Red Nosed Reindeer Candy Holders
Materials Needed
- Cardstock
- Glue
- Cutting Machine (Such as Cricut, Silhouette, Brother ScanNCut, etc.)
- Candy (either a round chocolate or lollipop)
- Optional: 5x5 in square of red tissue paper to cover candy, googly eyes, black pen, ribbon, and tape.
Digital Files Needed
You will need the Red Nosed Reindeer Candy Holder cut files.
Prepare Pieces to Assemble
- Cut out the SVG or DXF pieces that you want to use.
- Tip: Refer to the Maker Guide PDF resource included with the digital files for helpful printing, cutting, and group/attach information.
Red Nosed Reindeer Assembly Instructions
Reindeer
- Glue the antler pieces onto the reindeer shape.
- Glue or draw the the ears, mouth & eyes (can also use googly eyes) onto the reindeer shape.
- Fold the two score lines backwards.
Candy
Add a round chocolate or lollipop for the nose. If your candy is not red, you can wrap a 5x5 inch piece of red tissue paper around the candy.
- Chocolate: Tape the wrapper ends to the back of the candy. Align the front of the chocolate with the hole for the nose and use a small amount of glue to stick the two forehead pieces together.
- Lollipop: Twist the wrapper tightly around the stick. Place the lollipop stick through the small hole in the bottom of the reindeer holder and then twirl the stick as you guide the wrapper through.
Accessories
Embellish as desired!
- Glue on the Santa hat.
- Glue on the holly.
- Add a hair bow or neck bow with ribbon.
